Being locked out of story content for starting the game late would be a dissuading factor for me since I tend to care a lot about story and lore content. I’ve heard that other action MMOs like Destiny are offenders in this respect also. Also, is FOMO a thing with story content here? In the gacha space Genshin Impact is an example of a big offender in that respect since a lot of story content is permanently inaccessible. Regarding the story, how good is it? I hear all about the titular warframes, but I’ve never heard people talk about characters from this game, so I’m not sure what to expect. As an MMO I expect this to be more social in general, but which aspect is your favorite part of the experience? What do you consider the main draw to the game? What keeps you playing? Although gameplay is an important part of both, I tend to play console RPGs more for the story and gacha more for collecting stuff and engaging with communities.
